Chinese School Overview

MIA Shenghua Chinese School has approximately 170 secondary students (Grades 7-9) and 425 primary students (Grades 1-6). The secondary school teachers are all Chinese external teachers with college or master's degrees. The curriculum, published by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China, includes Chinese, Mathematics, Biology, History, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Education. For primary education, there are 16 teachers, both local and Chinese, teaching Chinese, Mathematics, Science, Art, Physical Education, and Morality. Class times for both primary and secondary students are 6:40-8:05 a.m. and 4:00-5:25 p.m.
